And the 2021 WOW! Reading Challenge Champions are…

 

(April 20, 2021) Onwards and upwards, we go! Although the 2021 Wow Reading Challenge, like all things in 2020-2021, was influenced by COVID-19, the WOW! Reading Challenge had great participation.  Huge congratulations, and thank you is extended – to all of the schools and students and staff who continue to participate in this literacy program.  Over 32, 077 books were read by elementary students and over 1.6 million pages were read by Middle and High School level readers (1,606,760)! This past year, 2117 students participated in the WOW! Reading Challenge in 14 schools.

The winners of the 2021 World Literacy Championship are:

The Reading Challenge is hosted by the Pictou-Antigonish Regional Library through a partnership with local policing agencies, schools, and community sponsors.
